My brother bought me this book of knitted dolls - each one an 'icon'! It's suberb! - Jacquie Onassis, Mr T, David Bowie, Madonna - there's 25 in all. Few pics attached (not very good I'm afraid). They are fab if a tad bizzare especially Chairman Mao!

love the fact u knit... i do the fluffy scarves cos its in a straight bloody line! done some real funny stuff in my past..knitted my daughter some leggings when she was born and when sown up one leg went one way and one the other LOL
Love it! Have done it since me mum couldn't finish a jumper when I was a kid and I just finished it off - me nan had shown me how. Don't like wasting time so can do it watching telly or whatever. Love doing socks! Had my share of disasters too lol. The worst was an aran that I did when a student. I washed it and left it to dry and a mate thought she was doing me a favour and tumbled it! Shrank beyond belief!!!
