Hypchondriac's Blog

Yesterday, I had Leukaemia; possible ME which has now miracuously disappeared - as it always does. Seriously, I had a terrble fatigue in the evening. Rational thinking tells me "Yes, It was the end of a busy week. You have just had dinner and are stretched out on the settee in front of a log fire. Who wouldn't feel a tad tired!". To the hypochondriac this just doesn't wash. But today I feel better!

Shopping done, beds stripped and linen washed; dusting and hoovering nearly finished... then off to my brothers' for dinner. 'Tis Ben and Maria's 4th (maybe 5th wedding anniversary). Tarrantino's in Brentwood. My other brother Matthew collapsed there the last time he went (just pay the goddam bill, I suggested...) and I had what a friend described as a 'cat's meat' lasagne - the filling wasn't cooked properly. I'm looking forward to it immensely!!!

When a little out of sorts, I make soup. I have a pot of simmering bones and veg on the go as I type and the kitchen is filled with mouthwatering smells. I'm baking bread too. Making soup is my stress buster. Unfortunately, it doesn't go down too well on a blazing hot day, but then it's freezing here and most welcome.

Have just finished a pair of gloves to wear tonight..no wonder I get tired!
